Character Name: Snow
Canon: Jiu Jiu
Timeline: end of volume 3.
Character's Age: 4 in human years, 28 in dog years.
Powers, Skills, Pets and Equipment: Can shift between human shape and wolf form. Since he's a wolf, he's got heightened senses.
Canon History: Linked here.
Personality: Snow is a happy wolf. He loves going on walks, playing with frisbees, and did I mention going on walks? He is quite the simple being, who is happy when seeing his mistress happy, and loves to spend time with her and his brother, Night. Seeing them sad makes him sad as well. He is easily affected by the mood of the ones around him, whether they are happy or sad. He’s childish, and playful like a puppy, or a child, and a lot of the time, his brain works like that of one. He’s good at pleading when he wants something, and being a pup, he’s good at making puppy eyes, even in his human form. And he’s not all that smart, being as simple minded as he is, but he’s not really stupid either. While he’s an idiot, there are several times when he acts rationally, even if he acts on instinct most of the time.
While it’s easy to make him happy, it’s just as easy making him cry. Snow is a big crybaby, who will cry often and hard, with tears big as crocodile tears. He cries when his brother or owner is sad, he cries when he’s hurt, unless he’s in a serious mood, like being affected by the moon or protecting Takamichi. But when that seriousness fades, the tears starts to fall. Like the dog-animal that he is, he gets lonely easily. He likes being in other people’s presence, and doesn’t like when he’s all on his own, with no one to keep him company.
While he seems very innocent and pure, there are also times when he comes out as perverted, mainly because of his habit to walk around naked, which is, of course, natural to him, as he is a wolf, but his, Snow and Takamichi’s classmates are unaware of this, and it is an important secret to be kept, so sometimes they have to quickly transform from their wolf shape to their human form, thus ending them up naked, and the classmates in shock. He can be pretty sly though, where he plots on how to deal with the pig prince, or making Night confused when claiming that they don’t need to accept Takamichi’s fiancé, but the person witnessing it will, most of the time, end up wondering if they really saw it or not, as Snow does something to ruin the moment, making him seem stupid or clueless again. There are many things he still does not understand.
He gets jealous quite easily, especially of his brother. He loves Night, very much, but but he loves Takamichi just like his brother does; more than a pet and their owner. And seeing Night getting attention in ways that he doesn’t get, he gets sad, jealous. During a full moon, or close to it, it can drive him crazy. When affected by the moon, he’s angry. Dangerously so.
He’s good at fighting, and doesn’t blink at spilling the blood of monsters. He can be ruthless when he wants to, as seen when he and Night almost rips a werewolf apart, but in the blink of an eye, he can go back to being the cuddly pup he regularly is. But when serious, he can bite down into someone’s throat without a moment of hesitation, especially if it’s for the sake of protecting his mistress. And when affected by the full moon, that ruthlessness gets even worse. The full moon heightens any feeling of dissatisfaction, jealousy and anger, and since Snow has quite an easy time getting jealous during the recent year, when he discovered the height of his feelings for Takamichi, it has driven him wild more than once. The moon can drive him so far that he would have killed his brother had Takamichi not moved to get in the way, making him bite her instead, which brought him out of his madness.
